THE SALON
LE SALON
A bit of history from our Salonniere
In 20th-century France, women from California, Ohio, and New York sought lives of independence and creativity in Paris.
They hosted salons, or gatherings, that ranged from literary discussions to lively, queer soirées, drawing artists, writers, musicians, poets, and patrons into spaces of constant inspiration.

Offering critique, encouragement, and tireless promotion, these Salonnières helped figures like Picasso, Hemingway, Matisse, and James Joyce achieve lasting prominence.

Inspired by this legacy, we created The Salon—a modern gathering that cultivates genuine and thoughtful relationships with like-minded creatives while offering steadfast support for the artists shaping our generation.
Through tenderly curated exhibits in womens homes, curated by our tastemakers, we celebrate beauty, critical optimism, and champion the historic talent of our time.

We look forward to hosting you at The Salon.

Love,
Your Salonnière
